About
Mike Stewart has spent 26 years helping businesses get found, earn trust, and turn attention into customers.
He started in 2000 in directional media — the year the Yellow Pages began its long slide into the search bar. For nine years he sat across the table from owners whose phones rang because of a printed page, and helped them move that demand onto the internet before most of them believed it was worth doing. Verizon named him to its President’s Award four times over those nine years.
In 2010 he left to build a local search practice of his own, on a premise that was unfashionable at the time: show the client exactly what was done, exactly what it cost, and exactly what it produced. That practice became a partnership in 2015. More than 500 businesses have come through it, and roughly 95% of them stay — some since the first year.
Along the way he has served on the DFWSEM board, chaired SEMPO North Texas, helped found the State of Search conference in Grapevine, spoken at Pubcon, and been called as an expert witness in federal court on local search geotargeting.
He believes the best marketing makes a business easier to find, easier to trust, and easier to choose. Everything else is decoration.
